WEF Professor: Declining Birth Rates Will Fight 'Climate Change'

A World Economic Forum-linked professor has declared that the declining birth rates recorded in countries around the world are actually a “good thing” because the issue will help to fight “climate change.”

As Slay News has reported, experts have been raising the alarm in recent months as global birth rates sink way below sustainable levels.

The issue has led to warnings of a “baby drought” as the birth rate continues to fall.

Australia, Japan, South Korea, and China have all recorded dangerously low birth rates.

Now the UK government is also raising the alarm after also recording a significant drop in birth rates over the past two years.
According to a disturbing report from the UK’s Office for National Statistics (ONS) released last week, live births were down 3.1% from 2021 to 2022.
The figure has dropped to the lowest number since 2002.

According to ONS Health Analysis head James Tucker, the report also found, “Almost a third of all those births were to non-UK-born women.
“This is the highest proportion of live births to non-UK-born women seen since our records began, with India now the most common country of birth for non-UK-born parents.”
However, the sharp decline is not a concern for some government officials, who insist that the issue is something to celebrate.
According to Professor Sarah Harper CBE, the falling birth rates in the West are “good for… our planet.”

Prof. Harper is a UK government advisor who established Oxford’s Institute of Population Ageing.

Harper is also linked to the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The professor has spoken at WEF events in China and Australia to promote the “benefits” of population reduction efforts to globalist elites.

Responding to the disturbing ONS data, Harper argued that plummeting birth rates are “a good thing.”

“I think it’s a good thing that the high-income, high-consuming countries of the world are reducing the number of children that they’re having,” Harper said.

“I’m quite positive about that,” the WEF-linked government official said.

Perhaps revealing the true sinister agenda of the UK government and other globalist-controlled nations, Harper was awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for her “services to demography.”

The majority of Harper’s advice as a “gerontologist” includes touting the “advantages” of decreasing the number of citizens being born.

Most nations have been recording drops in birth rates over the past two years.

Just before the Covid pandemic, births were rising at a healthy rate.

The Telegraph reports that shrinking populations in “wealthy nations” will reduce the “carbon footprint” of those countries.
Yet the report fails to mention the fact that both China and India are by far the largest polluters on the planet.
India also has the world’s largest population, with China in second place.

The United States is in a distant third place, with only a fraction of China’s population size.

Considering human beings are carbon-based lifeforms, the popular internet saying, “You are the carbon they want to reduce,” is ringing more true every day.

Responding to the ONS data, British Conservative Party MP Miriam Cates joined TalkTV to point out the fact that people feel humanity is bad for the Earth is a far more serious problem than “climate change.”

Cates is warning that “climate crisis” fearmongering is being used to promote depopulation.

“This kind of feeling that humanity is bad for the Earth and we must decrease the population is bringing us into much a more serious problem,” she said.
