Federal Judge: Pelosi Violated Constitution by Passing $1.7 Trillion Spending Bill in 2022

A federal judge has ruled that then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi violated the Constitution when she led the House of Representatives in passing a controversial $1.7 trillion spending bill in 2022.

U.S. District Court Judge James Wesley Hendrix ruled that Pelosi violated the Constitution by allowing members to vote without actually being at the Capitol for the session.

The session at which the budget was adopted took place on December 23, 2022, according to Reuters.

Despite major opposition, the budget passed 225-201.

At the time of the budget’s passing, CNBC referred to the action as “the final major achievement” of Pelosi’s term as speaker of the House.

At the time the budget was almost three months late.

Budgets are theoretically supposed to be in place by the October 1 start of the federal fiscal year.

However, they are rarely adopted on time.

This year, Congress has not yet approved a full budget almost five months into the federal fiscal year, for example.

Judge Hendrix, who was appointed by President Donald Trump, said he did not block the entire budget, which ran through Sept. 30, 2023.

Texas wanted to ultimately block two provisions but lost on one.

Hendrix ruled Texas did not have standing to attack $20 million in the budget that funded services to illegal immigrants while they were undergoing immigration removal proceedings.

The judge agreed to the state’s request to block the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act from being enforced against Texas.

The bill was designed to give pregnant workers what it called reasonable accommodation.

As part of his ruling, Hendrix said the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission could not enforce the law against the state government of Texas.

“Congress acted egregiously by passing the largest spending bill in U.S. history with fewer than half the members of the House bothering to do their jobs, show up, and vote in person,” state Attorney General Ken Paxton said.

According to a news release from Paxton’s office, the Texas AG had “secured a major victory in defense of the United States Constitution.”

“Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi abused proxy voting under the pretext of COVID-19 to pass this law, then Biden signed it, knowing they violated the Constitution,” Paxton said.

“This was a stunning violation of the rule of law. I am relieved the Court upheld the Constitution.”

Proxy voting was a pandemic-era rule that was abolished in January 2023 when Republicans took control of the House.

In his 120-page opinion, Hendrix excoriated the proxy voting system.

“For over 235 years, Congress understood the Constitution’s Quorum Clause to require a majority of members of the House or Senate to be physically present to constitute the necessary quorum to pass legislation,” he wrote.

“This rule prevents a minority of members from passing legislation that affects the entire nation,” he wrote.

“But despite the Constitution’s text and centuries of consistent practice, the House in 2020 created a rule that permitted non-present members to be included in the quorum count and vote by proxy,” he wrote.

“Pursuant to that novel rule, the House passed a new law included within the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023, and that particular provision affects Texas.”

“Like many constitutional challenges, Texas asserts that this provision is unenforceable against it because Congress violated the Constitution in passing the law. …

“The Court concludes that, by including members who were indisputably absent in the quorum count, the Act at issue passed in violation of the Constitution’s Quorum Clause.”

“Based on the Quorum Clause’s text, original public meaning, and historical practice, the Court concludes that the Quorum Clause bars the creation of a quorum by including non-present members participating by proxy,” he continued.

“Supreme Court precedent has long held that the Quorum Clause requires presence, and the Clause’s text distinguishes those absent members from the quorum and provides a mechanism for obtaining a physical quorum by compelling absent members to attend,” he wrote.

JUST CONFIRMED: COVID-19 and Its Vaccines Linked to Sudden Hearing Loss

Dr. Clarice Saba, a specialist in ear, nose, and throat medicine in Brazil, experienced sudden hearing loss in her right ear just one week after getting her first dose of the COVID-19 adenovirus vaccine.

“I did all the exams and could not find any other reason other than because of the shots,” she said.

Multiple studies have connected sudden hearing loss to the vaccine, with the most comprehensive study originating from France.

Four hundred cases of post-vaccine sudden sensorineural hearing loss were evaluated, with 345 medical reports assessed by two audiology experts for potential causality.

“[Sudden sensorineural hearing loss] after COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are very rare adverse events,” the French authors concluded, adding that these rare adverse events ‘do not call into question the benefits of mRNA vaccines but deserve to be known given the potentially disabling impact of sudden deafness.”

The connection between COVID-19 and its vaccines with hearing loss remains unknown. Some research indicates that the SARS-CoV-2 virus might replicate within the ear, potentially damaging blood vessels and nerves.

Studies examining hearing issues in COVID-19 patients have revealed inflammation in the inner ears, inflamed cochlear and vestibular nerves, and instances of ear bleeding.

The COVID-19 mRNA vaccines prompt the body to produce spike proteins associated with the virus. Studies conducted on animal cochlear cells have demonstrated that these spike proteins can harm the cochlea. Additionally, these spike proteins bear resemblance to more than 28 human proteins.

Therefore, some research on hearing loss theorizes that proteins found in the ears, including those within the cochlea, may share structural similarities with spike proteins. This similarity could potentially trigger autoimmune damage as the body’s immune system responds.

According to Dr. Jordan Vaughn, an internal medicine physician, the spike proteins present in COVID-19 vaccines can contribute to micro-clotting, thickening the blood and making it more sluggish. This slower blood flow can impede oxygen exchange and place strain on the nerves and cells within the ears.

Since the pandemic, Dr. Saba has seen a rise in hearing loss and tinnitus.

Tinnitus is a much more common and acknowledged adverse effect of the COVID-19 vaccine than some. A well-known case of vaccine-related tinnitus was reported by vaccinologist Dr. Gregory Poland, who developed the condition after getting his second Pfizer dose.

Pathologists Warn 'Mild Myocarditis' Causes Sudden Deaths in Vaccinated

A group of world-renowned pathologists has just published the results of a peer-reviewed autopsy study that shows sudden deaths among people vaccinated with Covid mRNA shots are being caused by “mild” and undetectable cases of myocarditis.

The paper for the study, conducted by pathologists in Kanazawa City, Japan, was just published by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The Japanese pathologists found that Covid mRNA injections are causing heart damage in people who are unaware of the issue until it is too late.

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle (myocardium) and it is a known side effect of the Covid shots.

The inflammation can reduce the heart’s ability to pump blood and lead to cardiac arrest, stroke, blood clots, and death.

Most people who suffer from myocarditis are unaware that they have it until they experience symptoms such as critical heart failure.

The Japanese study reports the findings of an autopsy of a healthy 40-year-old man who had died suddenly:

“A healthy 40-year-old Japanese man suddenly experienced tachycardia and lost consciousness two days after vaccination.

“Continued resuscitation recovered the spontaneous heartbeat; however, the patient did not regain consciousness and died nine days later.

“Electrocardiography after resuscitation showed marked ST-segment depression and incomplete right bundle branch block.

“Influenza antigen and polymerase chain reaction tests for SARS-CoV-2 were negative.”

The key findings during the autopsy were:

“At autopsy, several small inflammatory foci with cardiomyocytic necrosis were scattered in the right and left ventricles, with a propensity for the right side.

“Some inflammatory foci were located near the atrioventricular nodes and His bundles.

“The infiltrating cells predominantly consisted of CD68-positive histiocytes, with a small number of CD8-positive and CD4-positive T cells.

“In this case, myocarditis was focal and mild, as is mostly observed following COVID-19 mRNA vaccination.

“However, the inflammatory foci were close to the conduction system and were considered the cause of fatal arrhythmia.”

The most concerning aspect of this is that the myocarditis itself was “focal and mild, as is mostly observed following COVID-19 mRNA vaccination.”

However, this resulted in a fatal arrhythmia because cells which are part of the electrical system were affected.

A secondary concern about this is that since this occurred after the second dose, it seems likely the event happened several years ago, yet has remained unpublished in the meantime.

Experts have long been raising the alarm about the possibility that inflammation affecting just the conductive system might result in fatal arrhythmia as a result of the mRNA injections.

It is to be noted that this man presented suddenly with an arrhythmia (ventricular tachycardia) which ultimately proved fatal; preceding chest pain characteristic of myocarditis was NOT reported.

This is consistent with concerns that subclinical myocarditis does indeed result in an increased risk of fatal arrhythmias, which may be responsible for most or all of the rise in ambulance callouts for cardiac arrests, which we have also written about.

Subclinical myocarditis – defined as a rise in troponin indicative of some cardiac damage – has been found in at least 1 in 50 people injected with the mRNA COVID injection in those studies where they have routinely looked for it.

Finally, it is worth pointing out that the small foci of inflammation affecting the conductive system which have been held responsible for this man’s death were only found by performing cardiac histological examination.

That is NOT something done routinely during post-mortems, not least because it adds extra expense and also postpones the diagnosis.

It is also something pathologists don’t like doing for the sake of the relatives.

In fact, there is generally a massive effort to disincentivize performing advanced testing on tissue.

It is much easier to find some early cardiac atheroma (actually present in many middle-aged individuals) and put the death down to that.

It is, therefore, perfectly possible that inflammation similar to that found in this Japanese man has been missed in the post-mortems carried out on many people dying suddenly.

Moreover, according to British pathologist Dr. Clare Craig, cardiac dissection to the level of detail required in order to ascertain how near these small areas of inflammation might be to the conductive system is a skill all pathologists are trained in.

However, it is one that most “jobbing” pathologists rarely practice, Craig notes.

Tucker Carlson Lifts Lid on Ukraine War: Americans 'Are Being Lied To'

Independent journalist Tucker Carlson has detailed his findings on the endless war in Ukraine and warned that the American people “are being lied to.”

Following his historic recent interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Carlson has now spoken about his experience during a three-hour podcast hosted by Lex Fridman.

Carlson revealed that his own investigations and recent experiences in Russia have opened his eyes to the extent of the propaganda and lies being fed to the American public by the federal government and their obedient allies in the corporate media.

Interestingly, the interview with Fridman comes after Russia recently claimed to have foiled an assassination lot against Carlson during his visit to Moscow, as Slay News reported.

Russian intelligence arrested a man who was allegedly plotting to kill Carlson.

According to Russia, the man confessed that he had been paid by Ukraine.

During his interview with Fridman, Carlson revealed more about what motivated him to do the televised Putin segment.

He further discussed his personal take on the Russia-Ukraine war and where it could go from here, now that the conflict has entered its third year.

However, Carlson’s main critique of the war focused not on Russia’s actions in Ukraine but on the impact on America.

Carlson explained that the West’s escalation of the conflict long ago into a full-blown proxy war has not only resulted in more needless Ukrainian deaths but has been devastating for the United States.

“I reject the whole premise of the war in Ukraine from the American perspective,” Carlson told Fridman. 

“There’s a war going on that is wrecking the US economy in a way and at a scale that people do not understand.”

He also generally characterized the response of the US political class to the conflict, along with the American public which has uncritically followed, as naive.

Carlson emphasized that what would be a cautious realist approach was utterly abandoned by Washington from the start, as has been typical of the past decades of US interventionism abroad.

“It doesn’t even matter what I want to happen… that’s a distortion of what is happening,” Carlson explained, and pointed to Russia having 100 million more people and more defense industry might “than all of NATO combined.”

He described that a big part of the rationale behind the Putin interview was to bring “more information” to the West.

He says he wanted to ensure “people could make their own decisions about whether” escalation of weapons to Ukraine and jingoistic rhetoric from Western capitals is a good idea.

Ultimately, he said, Americans are being lied to.

“Just to be clear, I have no plans to move to Russia,” Carlson said.

“I think I would probably be arrested if I moved to Russia.

“Ed Snowden, who is the most famous openness, transparency, advocate in the world, I would say along with Assange, doesn’t want to live in Russia.

“He’s had problems with the Putin government.

“He’s attacked Putin. They don’t like it. I get it. I get it.

“I’m just saying, what are the lessons for us?

“The main lesson is we are being lied to in a way that’s bewildering and very upsetting.

“I was mad about it all eight days I was there because I feel like I’m better informed than most people because it’s my job to be informed.

“I’m skeptical of everything and yet I was completely hoodwinked by it.”

Carlson also warned that the entire conflict was escalated, and is being fueled, by a small group of people in Washington D.C.

Canada Moves to Criminalize Christianity

Canada’s far-left government is moving to criminalize Christianity, with Bible reading and prayer considered “hate speech” – a “crime” punishable with prison time.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s World Economic Forum-controlled government is planning to outlaw Christianity with the introduction of an amendment to the Criminal Code that could see believers face jail time for expressing historic Christian teachings.

The legislation, Bill C-367, will make it illegal to reiterate certain parts of the Bible, stripping away the “good faith” defense for what is deemed by the state as “hate speech” or “antisemitism.”

Traditional Christian practices such as celebrating Christmas or attending church service will be considered crimes that carry severe penalties.

The proposed amendment aims to remove the provision that allows individuals to defend themselves by claiming they genuinely believe in and were merely expressing religious teaching already found in the Scriptures.

This means that citing religious beliefs as justification for words or actions that the state effectively regards as “heresy” will no longer be accepted as a valid defense under the law.

The bill states:

“The enactment amends the Criminal Code to eliminate as a defense against wilful promotion of hatred or antisemitism the fact that a person, in good faith, expressed or attempted to establish by an argument an opinion or a religious subject or an opinion based on a belief in a religious text.”

The bill has prompted outrage online with opponents expressing concerns about freedom of expression and the potential for targeted persecution of Christians in Canada.

Dr. Joseph Boot, President of the Ezra Institute, a Canada-based evangelical think-tank, said:

“If ratified, Canada’s anti-Christian legal apparatus created over the last decade will overtly persecute Christians with the force of criminal law.

“Everything is already in place,” he warned. “Buckle up.”

Dr. Boot went on to explain that evangelism, preaching, counseling, statements in the workplace, on social media, and in books that condemn homosexuality or transgenderism on biblical grounds could be “subject to criminal prosecution and with heavy fines or jail time.”

The legislation will also include statements deemed “antisemitic,” which Gab CEO, Andrew Torba warned means:

“Christians who maintain traditional orthodox perspectives about Jews–views that have been part of our faith for 2,000 years, are the primary obstacle to the Ruling Regime.”

Torba said, “As a result, we are the most targeted and vilified group in the Western world.”

This is just more evidence of that.

Bill C-367 is still under consideration in Parliament.

It has passed the first reading but faces further debate.

It is expected to pass, however, and PM Trudeau has expressed his full support for the bill.
