Canada to Begin Jailing Citizens Who 'Might' Commit Crimes

Blogger Comment: How insane can Canada's Trudeau get as insane as this Blog, were if he or his Administration suspects a Canadian or foreigner 'MIGHT' commit a crime, they will jail that person and where this means that they need no 'real' evidence...and where this basically takes the normal rule aware from society that a person is nit guilty until they have been found guilty by trial by their peers...Canada has therefore become a despot banana republic where dictators are in charge and overruling a person Human Rights and Human Dignity and fundamental freedom of Persons, as they will simply be locked up on the whim of a mere thought...how evil can that be and Democracy is no more in Canada where the people are just pawns in a subversive and suppressive nation...

Canada’s far-left government is moving to usher in draconian new powers that allow authorities to begin jailing citizens who “might” commit a crime.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s World Economic Forum-controlled cabinet is pushing for the new “pre-crime” authority which officials claim will help to tackle so-called “hate crimes.”

The new powers are buried in Trudeau’s “Online Harms Bill,” which is expected to soon be signed into law, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The “Online Harms Bill” is designed to crack down on any opposition to the anti-progressive agenda of Trudeau’s ruling Liberal Party.

One of the measures within the bill would give judges the power to imprison individuals if they believe they “might” commit a crime in the future.

To supposedly stop a “hate crime,” judges will be able to place citizens under house arrest and force them to wear an electronic tag.

Although the bill does include a clampdown on issues such as child pornography, much of its language revolves around battling so-called “hate speech.”

Canadian Justice Minister Arif Virani declared the legislation could play a “very important” role in preventing criticism of minorities.

”[If] there’s a genuine fear of an escalation, then an individual or group could come forward and seek a peace bond against them and to prevent them from doing certain things,” Virani explained.

“That would help to de-radicalize people who are learning things online and acting out in the real world violently – sometimes fatally.

“What’s really critical is that it gives the judge a wonderful range of sentences,” he continued.

“This is not a mandatory minimum of a life sentence, this is just a larger range, including what would be the maximum sentence.”

Under the measures proposed in Bill C-63, which was first unveiled last month, those found guilty of such crimes could also face life sentences in prison.

The legislation also involves the creation of a Digital Safety Commission.

The commission will be tasked with enforcing regulations and ensuring online platforms adhere to all the rules.

It will also establish the role of a Digital Safety Ombudsperson.

The new role will be responsible for “championing user interests, offering support, and issuing recommendations to both social media platforms and governmental bodies.”

Last month, Canadian opposition leader Pierre Poilievre expressed his opposition to the bill.

Poilievre, the leader of the Conservative Party, argued that the bill amounts to censorship.

“These serious acts should be criminalized, investigated by police, tried in court and punished with jail, not pushed off to new bureaucracy that does nothing to prevent crimes and provides no justice to victims.”

“[We] do not believe that the government should be banning opinions that contradict the Prime Minister’s radical ideology,” he added.

The news comes amid controversy regarding another new Canadian law that seeks to criminalize Christianity.

As Slay News recently reported, the Canadian government is pushing to further expand its so-called “hate speech” laws to also include key elements of the Christian faith.

Trudeau’s administration is planning to make Bible reading and prayer considered “hate speech” – a “crime” punishable with prison time.

Under Trudeau, a WEF Young Global Leader, the government is introducing an amendment to the Criminal Code.

The amendment could see believers face jail time for expressing historic Christian teachings.

The legislation, Bill C-367, will make it illegal to reiterate certain parts of the Bible.

By stripping away the “good faith” defense, the government will be able to prosecute Christians for what is deemed by the globalist state as “hate speech.”

Traditional Christian practices such as celebrating Christmas or attending church service will be considered crimes that carry severe penalties.

And more WEF controlled Trudeau Madness...
