BREXIT - UK Members of Parliament do not know what they Vote For and 'Why' They 'Never' get it right, not even when a Majority of 17.4 million British voters wanted it and voted for it, but history is full of the dire and deadly consequences for the people with the decisions that they have taken for its people

It is not the British people who have got BREXIT wrong, but CLEARLY the Politicians in Westminster. BREXIT Referendum Statistics and UK Politicians call this Democracy – They don’t know the meaning of the word -

We are now entering the final coup de grace of BREXIT, as British MPs thwart ‘the will’ of the people and where 73% of parliament’s MPs voted to REMAIN in the EU in the 2016 Referendum, but where the majority of voters 52% (17.4 million) voted OUT in 2016 and an imperfect match that was always a recipe for mayhem, conflict and disaster between the British voting people and the UK’s Members of Parliament.

For against all odds it showed that the majority of British people, who voted, wanted to come out of the European Union. But in  a mere 3-years UK MPs have plotted and undertaken a rear guard action to stop BREXIT at all costs, for they think in their arrogance and naivety, that they know better than the British people who voted.

But what this means also is that ‘democracy for the people’ is now dead in the United Kingdom and where the ‘democracy of Parliament’ reigns supreme and has made the former ‘firmly’ subservient to the latter. Therefore the role of master and servant has been totally reversed.

This, as an American political commentator said recently on BBC’s  This Week’ programme, denotes the death of democracy in the UK, as British politicians are not working for the people anymore in that they are taking no notice of what the majority of British voters want.  Indeed he was 100% correct with this analysis.

So why have over 90% of British MPs decided to do this and disregard the people, thinking in their naïve way, that they know best, but where history has shown that they certainly do not. For there are countless diabolical examples that abound in the history of British political decision-making and a few since 1945 include,

  1. Attlee’s Labour Government’s ‘Partitioning’ of India and Pakistan in 1947  (causing up to 2 million deaths and 14 million people displaced) that was not thought through as it certainly should have been with the situation that we still have today with military nuclear India and military nuclear Pakistan near to war constantly. Indeed the boundary between the newly created states of Pakistan and India involved the widespread resettlement of millions of Muslims and Hindus (and many Sikhs) and where ‘extreme violence’ ensued when Punjab and Bengal provinces were split and historian Yasmin Khan estimates that between a half-million and a million men, women and children were killed. It should be noted also that Churchill between 1940-45 had tightened the British hold on India and imprisoned the Congress leadership that was a sign of imperialism at its highest order, jailing their politicians and what is usually associated with a banana republic, so therefore even the previous prime minister was not that bright when it came to thinking things through thoroughly I would say.
So that overall was a great British political decision that has had far reaching consequences which even ring out to this day and where India should have been allowed to solve its own problems, not the British government imposing their will upon India through its illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament who certainly did not think things through also, but where of course they knew best then as is always the case and even with BREXIT today. The problem is that they always get it wrong in a ‘very BIG’ way according to history. So they are not that wise now are they?

2.   Attlee’s Labour Government and UK’s Members of Parliament with Churchill’s Conservative Government and the UK’s Members of Parliament thereafter intervened in Malaya, known as Malaysia today between 1948 and 1960 and what was know as the Malayan Emergency fought in the pre-/post independent nation of Malaya. The historical run-up to the conflict was ceded when the UK and parliamentarians through their voting took control of the Malayan economy and where they imposed taxes on goods that affecting their traditional industries. This led to an increase in poverty for the Malayan people and where a substantial number of Chinese people found employment in tin mines or fields responsible for the trade in the country’s materials. This intensified ethnic tensions as the people of Malaya found that ethnic Chinese had replaced them in certain jobs and work became more difficult to find. This forced many ethnic Malaysians into the rubber industry, which was highly dependent upon volatile world prices. Decapitation and mutilation of insurgents by British forces were also common as a way to identify dead guerrillas when it was not possible to bring their corpses in from the jungle. A photograph of a Royal Marine commando holding two insurgents' heads caused a public outcry in April 1952. The Colonial Office privately noted that "there is no doubt that under international law a similar case in wartime would be a war crime”. Historians state that 500,000 Malaysian people were eventually removed from their land and tens of thousands of homes were destroyed with many people being interned. The intent of this measure was to inflict collective punishment on villages according again to historians with some cases involving widespread destruction that went far and beyond the justification of military necessity. This practice was prohibited by the Geneva Conventions and international law which stated that the destruction of property must not happen unless rendered absolutely necessary by military operations. Therefore the political decisions by Parliamentarians again caused nothing but mayhem and human suffering. Therefore our illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly did not think things through again, but where of course they knew best then as is always the case and even with BREXIT today. The problem is that they always get it wrong in a ‘very BIG’ way according to history. So they are not that wise now are they?

  1. Attlee’s Labour government and the UK’s Members of Parliament interference in 1951 with Iran when they were trying to take 50% control their national assets in oil and gas that resided in the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (AIOC) and where no country has a divine right to take any independent country’s asset, but where clearly British MPs did not recognize this. Indeed, would our MPs have liked it if Iran had sailed into the North Sea and decided to take control of the UK’s North Sea oil and gas reserves?  I think not, but where this attempt together where a coup was discussed by the British government created the start of bad relations ever since between the UK and Iran and adding to what we have today, a middle-east affected by wars not peaceful coexistence through what should be ‘free trade’.. In 1953, the very same Iranian government that stopped Britain controlling 50% of Iran’s oil was overthrown in a coup d'état known as Operation Ajax, orchestrated by the United States' Central Intelligence Agency and the United Kingdom's MI6. In 2013, the U.S. government formally acknowledged the U.S. role in the coup, as a part of its foreign policy initiatives. Unfortunately British MPs do not understand that their decision-making has far-reaching consequences, that may start as little more than British exploitation of other lands, but ends up in a fuelling long-term war and conflict that has not ceased in reality since and to this present day. The UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament again certainly did not think things through, but where of course they knew best then as is always the case and even with BREXIT today. The problem is that they always get it wrong in a ‘very BIG’ way according to history. So they are not that wise now are they?

  1. In 1951 the Churchill’s Conservative Government and the UK’s Members of parliament intervened in Kenya that was called the Mau Mau Rebellion and which caused eventually, a full-scale civil war in that country
The armed rebellion was the end response to colonial rule and where although there had been preceding examples of violent conflict to colonialism, the Mau Mau revolt was the most protracted and violent anti-British colonial part of the conflict in Kenya. For as both sides grew larger and the ferocity of the attacks increased in size and intensity, Kenya moved to full-scale civil war.

Historians have stated that from the beginning of the land grab by the UK and its Parliamentarians, land was the primary British interest in Kenya and where the location and climate in the country made it possible for Europeans to reside permanently". Therefore the UK had its sights on economics and nothing else, not even the human suffering the effects would have on the Kenyan people themselves. This and other incursions by our parliamentarians through their voting for military interventions for economic gains with no regard to the humanitarian negative effect,  made the world see the UK in a different light and especially what would become the commonwealth countries. Therefore again the UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly did not think things through, but where of course they knew best then as is always the case and even with BREXIT today. The problem is that they always get it wrong in a ‘very BIG’ way according to history. So they are not that wise now are they?

5.   In 1956 Eden’s Conservative Government with the backing of UK  Members of Parliament authorized an incursion into Egypt which we call the Suez crisis and where the UK, France and Israel invaded Egypt and occupied the Suez Canal. This although the US’s President Eisenhower had warned Eden not to do it, saying that the American people would never approve of a military solution to this crisis and brought about as historians have stated through the rigidity of the UK Government not to really negotiate.  After the UK had taken  control of the Suez Canal through military action, Eisenhower  threatened to use financial pressure unless the UK withdrew from Egypt and where Eden had ignored Britain's financial dependence on the United States in the after effects of WWII and where Eden and the UK’s parliamentarians  were forced to abandon the British military intervention due to American pressure to withdraw. Historians often use the crisis to mark the end of Britain's status as a superpower, being unable to act and control international affairs without help and assistance. Therefore once again the UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly did not think things through, but where of course they knew best then as is always the case and even with BREXIT today. The problem is that they always get it wrong in a ‘very BIG’ way according to history. So they are not that wise now are they?

  1. Britain entering the EEC (now EU).
During the Heath Conservative Government with the UK’s Members of Parliament voting it through, Britain was taken into the Common Market on 1 January 1973 after winning the decisive vote in the House by 336-244. This was after Heath had been told in a “Letter to Edward Heath from Lord Kilmuir, December 1960”, that if we went in to the EEC (now EU)  it would be tantamount to treason with regard to Sovereignty. But our Members of Parliament again signed this death warrant for the UK’s sovereignty and where they did not read “in-depth” what they were voting for. For if they did, no self respecting person with any incline to what they were signing on behalf of the British people. Research Paper 10/79 – Letter to Edward Heath from Lord Kilmuir, December 1960 - https://campaignforanindependentbritain.org.uk/research-paper-1079-letter-edward-heath-lord-kilmuir-december-1960/ . Therefore once again the UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly did not think things through or read in detail what they were really signing, but where of course they knew best then again as is always the case and even with BREXIT.

  1. The United Kingdom European Communities Membership Referendum
On 9 April 1975 the Wilson Labour Government and Members of Parliament voted by 396 to 170 to continue within the Common Market on the new terms.  The Referendum for the people  took place under the provisions of the Referendum Act 1975 on 5 June 1975 to gauge support for the country's continued membership of the European Communities (EC) — then known at the time as the ‘European Community’ and the ’Common Market’ — which it had entered two and a half years earlier on 1 January 1973 under the Conservative government of Edward Heath. On that date 17,378,581 British voters voted to stay in the ECC (EU) and the same as voted to come out of the EU in 2016. But then the people were totally in the dark to what they were voting for, just like the Remain side have said about the Leave voters in 2016. But again clearly, there was no real information concerning the vote in 1975 and where you never hear the remainers complaining about this lack of information in 1975. This change though does show that since 1975 and the people finding out more about the EU and how it operates with exceedingly more information after 41 years, that the majority of voters that took part in the 2016 Referendum, want out. But this time 73% of Members of Parliament do not accept this result. So what you can call political hypocrites when it comes to the British voting people and where it does not mean anything to our Members of parliament when they are clearly in contempt of the people of this Country. In this respect also, they use 1st past the post to get them into Westminster, but do not believe in first past the post of the majority when it comes to something that they do not agree with, well at least 73% of them anyway. Therefore once again the UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly did not think things through or read in detail what they were really voting for and signing away the UK, but where of course they knew best then again as is always the case and even with BREXIT.

8.  Labour Blair’s taking the UK people into the Iraq war on the lie of WMDs (1.2 million deaths and nearly 4 million displacements)  and Afghanistan that was not thought through as it certainly should have been

But just viewing the Iraq War, on 24 September 2002 the Government published a dossier based on the intelligence agencies' assessments of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction. Among the items in the dossier was a recently received intelligence report that "the Iraqi military are able to deploy chemical or biological weapons within 45 minutes of an order to do so". A further briefing paper on Iraq's alleged WMDs was issued to journalists in February 2003. This document was discovered to have taken a large part of its text without attribution from a PhD thesis available on the internet. Where the thesis hypothesized about possible WMDs, the Downing Street version presented the ideas as fact. The document subsequently became known as the "Dodgy Dossier". Parliamentary approval by our Members of Parliament for the invasion of Iraq was given in the House of Commons to Tony Blair's government on the eve of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, in a series of two votes, on 18 March 2003. The voting was with an amendment urging the government to wait for further UN approval. In this respect it removed the text "recognizes that Iraq's weapons ... in the Middle East" and replaced it with: This House... believes that the case for war against Iraq has not yet been established, especially given the absence of specific United Nations authorization; but, in the event that hostilities do commence, pledges its total support for the British forces engaged in the Middle East, expresses its admiration for their courage, skill and devotion to duty, and hopes that their tasks will be swiftly concluded with minimal casualties on all sides. Parliament voted on the amended text in a vote at 9:15 pm, but the amendment was defeated by 396 to 217 votes. At 10 pm, the motion without the amendment was passed by 412 to 149 votes, authorizing the invasion. The British military campaign against Iraq, Operation Telic, began one day later. Therefore the Members of parliament voted without all the information and where they were basically in the dark. This was exactly the same in 1973 with the Conservative Heath government where the Members of Parliament did not know the full facts, but voted for it. The same is the present time as these 73% of Members of parliament who are committed ‘Remainers’ have not read the Lisbon Treaty in-depth and understood it according to what certain sitting Members of Parliament have said to the media in limited interviews. Therefore our Members of Parliament are constantly voting for things that they do not know the full future ramifications for and are not at all informed whatsoever. Indeed, if they looked at the Lisbon Treaty they would soon find that the EU will completely rule and where no EU state will ever be allowed out of the European Community with the legal lock-in text if the Treaty. Therefore once again the UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly do not think things through or read in detail what they were/are really voting for, but where of course they knew best then again as is always the case and even with BREXIT.

  1. The Libya War
In March 2011, the United Kingdom, along with France and USA voted in their respective legislative parliaments and administrations by their people’s voted-in Members, for military intervention against Gaddafi's Libya leading to the 2011 military intervention into Libya.
In the UK the Members of Parliament voted in the House of Commons by 557 to 13 to support action in Libya at the end of their debate on 21 March 2011. Libya at that time was one of the wealthiest countries in Africa, if not the wealthiest with advancing western orientated culture that was law abiding and had modern buildings in the capitol Tripoli and other major Libyan cities. After the UK’s intervention it was basically rubble and where it is now lawless without any meaningful economy to support its people. There is certainly a lack of hope and where it was not the Libyan people’s fault that the UK, backed by it Members of Parliament, destroyed this once well developed nation. Therefore the question is, why did the UK’s Members of Parliament vote for such mayhem and destruction on a peaceful people who posed no threat at all to the UK. Well that question has never been answered by Parliament and where thee was no real reason to destroy a whole nation. Indeed, the reasons why the UN sanctioned military action was a ‘false flag’  and where the press stated that “During the Libyan civil war, Gaddafi's loyalist forces allegedly carried out aerial bombings in Tripoli over civilian protesters, which drew widespread condemnation. However, these massacres likely never took place.” So the UN was actually conned by the powers that be in the form of the UK, France and the USA.  Nonetheless, under pressure from mutinying Libyan diplomats the UN was brought to act. Therefore again the UK’s illustrious and so-called wise Members of Parliament certainly do not think things through or read in detail what they were/are really voting for in parliament, but where of course they knew best then again as is always the case and even with BREXIT.

Summary of Findings and what Hope for BREXIT ? The answer is, None that I can see
What all the above shows is that the United Kingdom’s Members of Parliament never read fully what they are voting for in-depth and due to this they make constant mistakes by not being fully educated on what they are voting for, even when they are the country’s most important decisions. Therefore we cannot accept that they know what they are doing when 73%  are voting against the will of the people with BREXIT and only a handful know what the Lisbon Treaty states and what is coming for the UK. You will have noticed I am sure that none of them ever mention in public the words, “The Lisbon Treaty”. The reason is as I have stated they have not read it or even more important if they have, not understood the full ramifications for Britain and how the EU will have full control with no vetoes if they want something. Indeed to speak against the EU will be illegal in a few years time and no-one appears to be aware of what is on the horizon for all within the EU including of course, the United Kingdom. I wonder why our Members of Parliament are not informing the people, but I believe the answer is clear, they just do not know?

So overall we cannot overwhelmingly rely on our Members of Parliament to make any right decisions and that is clear in respect of BREXIT. So the 17.4 million are being sold down the river as usual and the MPs apparently do not care.

THEREFORE BASED UPON THE EVIDENCE BREXIT WILL NOT HAPPEN in true reality to what the people voted for in 2016...to unequivocally LEAVE the EU and where  17.4 million British majority voters will have been deceived and had their Democracy vote taken away from them. Indeed, after this fiasco and stitch up, what is the point of ever voting again?
