Following the bombshell news that lame-duck President Joe Biden has given his son Hunter a blanket pardon for all crimes, details are beginning to emerge regarding the motivations behind the move.
Allegations are now surfacing that President Biden has pardoned his son to save himself from damaging information being made public.
A White House official has reportedly claimed that Hunter Biden threatened his own father to pressure him into issuing the pardon.
Before he ended his presidential campaign, Biden insisted that he would not pardon his son for federal tax and gun crimes.
Even after he dropped out of the race, the president insisted that he let justice prevail.

However, pardoning Hunter Biden would have been incredibly damaging for any Democrat running for election as it would have cemented concerns about the two-tiered justice system.
It’s like the president was always planning to pardon his son once the election was passed.
Now, under a month since Election Day, Biden has pardoned his son, confirming that the Democrats believe justice should not apply to those in power.
Biden announced the pardon in a Sunday night statement.
“There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution,” Biden wrote in a statement.
“In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here.
“Enough is enough,” he added.
As soon as the news was announced, however, speculation raged as to what made Biden change his mind.
According to Jack Posobiec, a White House insider has alleged that Hunter Biden forced his father to issue a pardon by giving him an ultimatum.
“Over Thanksgiving, Hunter told his father about a book he was writing that would go public with everything,” claimed Posobiec
“Days later, his father signed a blanket pardon – per WH official.”
As many have pointed out, the pardon is sweeping.
The blanket pardon protects Hunter Biden from prosecution for all crimes, even those he hasn’t been accused of, yet.
Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani also believes Biden issued the pardon to protect himself.
Giuliani suggests that Hunter Biden’s role in his father’s shady Ukraine deals was the main reason for the pardon.
“Biden, who will not even meet with his grand daughter Navy, didn’t pardon his son because he’s a good father,” Giuliani said in a post on X.
“He did so because, as his son admits on the Hard Drive, for 30 years Hunter has given half the millions he’s collected to the Boss of the Crime Family- Joe Biden.”
“I think it’s becoming pretty clear now… this pardon was for Joe…. Not Hunter,” Juanita Broaddrick added.
Others are pointing to the timing of the pardon announcement.
“I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Joe Biden frantically decides to give Hunter the largest pardon in HISTORY to erase ELEVEN YEARS of federal crimes — less than 24 hrs after Kash Patel is announced as FBI Director,” noted Benny Johnson.
Biden has asserted that “No one is above the law” as recently as May 31st.
He made the reference to President Donald Trump being convicted.
The comment has not aged well.
Meanwhile, Trump has blasted the move as “an abuse and miscarriage of justice.”
The president-elect is demanding to know why Jan. 6 defendants will continue to be pursued and languish in jail despite being accused of crimes far less serious than Hunter Biden.
