DeSantis: Fraudulent Petitions Used to Get Radical Abortion Amendment on Florida's Ballot

Blogger Comment: Another illegal corruption of the American people's rights to democracy by the Democrats, as that is the only political party that want to destroy life, not preserve it and if it is anyone else, they can be classified as murderers rightly with their actions and intent here as life is the most precious commodity that humanity has...and no other reasons for this...false 'unauthorized' petition...but the far left and what the Democrats are, are full of these things with the evidence that has come out over the last 4-years and more, but unfortunately more harm to come for the American people I fear and even another made up pandemic and jabs that do nothing but harm... 

Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has revealed that state officials have discovered fraudulent petitions were used to get a radical amendment on abortion added to Florida’s ballots.

Law enforcement officials are going to thousands of people’s homes in Florida to investigate the issue.

Investigators are visiting people listed on the petitions to see if they signed their support for putting a far-left pro-abortion amendment on the ballot.

Amendment 4 is so extreme that the state of Florida has deployed resources to warn voters how the dangerous  amendment puts women’s health and safety at risk.

During a Monday press conference, DeSantis revealed that law enforcement has launched an investigation into the petitions.

The governor said law enforcement was called to investigate the issue following a wide range of complaints about the group that submitted the petition for the amendment to appear on the ballot.

“And turns out they looked, this group submitted, dozens of petitions on behalf of dead people,” DeSantis said.

“They saw those petitions being submitted.

“There are other, petitions that have actually been validated where the signatures do not match the voter file.

“So they were getting all of those complaints, and they’re doing what they’re supposed to do.

“They’re following the law, and they’re ensuring that anyone that broke the law is gonna be held accountable.”

“Our tolerance in the state of Florida for any type of election-related fraud is zero,” DeSantis continued.

“We are not going to put up with it.

“And so if they have identified examples that are gonna be referred to Florida Department of Law Enforcement those are gonna be pursued.

“If someone’s committing fraud that undermines your rights.

“As, law-abiding citizens, we don’t want to go down that road.”

Critics who do not want law enforcement to verify that the signatures are all legitimate are pushing back against the move.

They claim that police asking people if they signed a petition is a form of “intimidation.”

DeSantis said that anyone who is trying to commit fraud will absolutely be held accountable for their crimes.

Having that accountability deters a lot of criminal activity from ever happening in the first place, he noted.
